New GODBREAKERS Trailer Showcases More Power-stealing Co-Op Action

To The Sky and Thunderful's recently announced power-stealing, four-player co-op hack’n’slash, Godbreakers, today got a new action trailer that debuted in the MIX Fall Game Showcase. Ahead of the game’s 2025 release on PC and PS5, the trailer offers a new look at Godbreakers’ headline “Godbreak” mechanic, memorable boss fights and thrilling co-op combat where you can use cool unlockable skills to gain the upper hand.

In Godbreakers, players are vessels of humanity, brought back by celestial beings to destroy the Monad, an unbound artificial intelligence. Players will absorb enemy powers and turn them against their masters, cancel actions for total control, chain devastating abilities, and take down epic bosses across six eclectic biomes, all while sharpening their playstyle with every thrilling run.

Key gameplay features in Godbreakers include:

  • Frenetic Co-op Action for 1-4 Players – Join forces with friends in fast-paced, chaotic battles to coordinate abilities, chain attacks, and take down powerful bosses together.
  • Engaging Gameplay Elements – Weaken enemies mid-fight and absorb their abilities to turn the tide of battle, charge energy, take their power, then unleash a Godbreak: a devastating attack that uses the enemy’s own strength against them.
  • Memorable Boss Fights – Clash with a wild roster of multi-phase bosses, each with evolving attack patterns and distinct personalities, that will test reflexes and coordination, pushing players and their crew to thrive in peak chaos.
  • Fast, Fluid Combat with Strategic Depth – Cancel moves mid-action for precise control in real time, and chain together strikes, dashes, and abilities to unlock new weapons with runs to keep tactics evolving.
  • Experimentation with Builds – Shape combat style by experimenting with builds and unlocking Archetypes, each with their own weapons and traits.
  • Explore Vibrant Biomes – Fight through six surreal biomes, each filled with unique enemies, deadly hazards, and challenges.
