NCSOFT TO UNVEIL CINDER CITY (FORMERLY PROJECT LLL) ON GAMESCOM’S OPENING NIGHT LIVE; HANDS-ON DEMOS AT B2B BOOTH AND GEFORCE RTX EVENT

New Multiplayer and Open-World Gameplay to Showcase on ONL and Headline NCSOFT’s 2025-2026 Line-up. New Trailer!

NCSOFT will hit a new high at this year’s Gamescom with a thrilling set of VIP Showcases, global reveals, high-level partnerships and booth appearances, led by its dynamic new MMO tactical shooter, Cinder City.

INTRODUCING CINDER CITY
Originally introduced at G-Star 2023 as Project LLL, Cinder City is an MMO tactical shooter developed by BigFire Games, an NCSOFT studio. Players suit up as a futuristic knight, navigate a world reshaped by future technology, and battle through iconic landmarks and high-tech battlegrounds in post-apocalyptic Seoul.

Players must face brutal choices as they search for the lead character’s missing daughter -- solo or cooperatively with a squad. Cinder City will arrive in 2026 on PC and consoles.

OPENING NIGHT LIVE EXCLUSIVE REVEAL
To kick off the week’s events, NCSOFT will reveal an official, never-seen-before gameplay trailer on Opening Night Live (ONL), highlighting gritty open-world gameplay, multiplayer boss battles, and heavy mech warfare.

ONL’s main show begins at 8:00 p.m. CEST, 11 am PT, Tuesday, August 19 across multiple social and streaming platforms. Check the new Cinder City new website: CINDER-CITY.com

GEFORCE RTX EVENT
Ray Tracing and DLSS 4 will come to Cinder City at launch. Cinder City will appear as a flagship title at GeForce RTX Event, where NVIDIA has partnered with NCSOFT’s BigFire Games to provide hands-on gameplay on PC stations built with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards. The PCs will boast NVIDIA’s latest state-of-the art graphics technologies, integrating NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction, and NVIDIA Reflex.

A new tech trailer featuring NVIDIA’s RTX integration will be unveiled during the event. Cinder City also will launch on GeForce NOW, NVIDIA’s cloud gaming platform.

VIP SHOWCASE AND HANDS-ON AT NCSOFT BOOTH
Cinder City, which leads NCSOFT’s 2025-2026 official Gamescom VIP Showcase -- including six other titles -- will be available for hands-on demos for select press and influencers at NCSOFT’s official B2B booth (B2B Hall 4.2, D-011) for three full days. The hands-on stations also will feature NVIDIA’s RTX graphics cards for ultimate visual fidelity.
