1. WHAT WAS THE FIRST GAME THAT YOU PLAYED THAT MADE YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH GAMING?

The first game that truly immersed me in the world of gaming and sparked my enduring passion for puzzle-solving was Tetris. Its simplicity belied the depth of its challenge and the addictiveness of its gameplay. From the moment I picked up the controller, I was entranced by the rhythmic descent of the colorful blocks, each one presenting a new puzzle to solve. As I manipulated the shapes and strategized to clear lines, I felt a sense of exhilaration with each successful placement and a pang of anticipation as the blocks fell faster and the screen filled up.

It transcended language barriers and age demographics, drawing players of all backgrounds into its mesmerizing world of falling blocks and endless possibilities. The game's iconic music, composed by the legendary Hirokazu Tanaka, added to its allure, creating an immersive experience that resonated with players around the globe.

As I delved deeper into Tetris, I discovered the art of puzzle-solving in its purest form. It wasn't just about reacting quickly or clearing lines; it was about thinking ahead, planning moves, and adapting to ever-increasing challenges. With each level, the stakes grew higher, and the puzzles more complex, testing not only your reflexes but also your spatial awareness and cognitive agility.

It remains a timeless classic and a testament to the enduring appeal of puzzle-solving in gaming. Its influence can be felt in countless other puzzle games that have followed in its wake, each one building upon its legacy and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in interactive entertainment. 

2. HOW DID YOU GET INTO GAME DEVELOPMENT?

All of our team has been avid gamers since childhood. Coming mostly from the CS backgrounds, they already had some experience with game dev and eventually gaining interest in the field, they choose to become game developers. The passion for gaming led them to pursue a career in game development. 

While playing games, some of us wanted to create games of our own and game development offers a broad range of opportunities, from coding and programming to game design, art, animation and more. So, combining these interest with games was a wonderful opportunity to make best of skills and fun.  For some, another reason was to create innovative and groundbreaking games that captivate audiences and leave a lasting impact on the industry and bring some name to the game industry in the country.

3. BEING BASED IN PAKISTAN IS IT HARD FOR YOU AND YOUR TEAM TO CREATE GAMES FROM THE PAST WARS?

Despite not facing direct issues related to past wars, our team has encountered its share of challenges stemming from political and economic instability in our region. These factors have presented hurdles that affect various aspects of game development, from securing funding to navigating infrastructure limitations. Adapting to these uncertainties demands resilience and resourcefulness, requiring us to find innovative solutions while staying true to our creative vision. Despite the obstacles, our commitment to creating meaningful gaming experiences remains unwavering. We recognize the importance of collaboration and innovation in overcoming these challenges, and we remain dedicated to pushing forward despite the difficulties. Thank you for acknowledging the realities we face, and we're determined to continue creating impactful games despite the odds.

4. WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE NAME PLAYDEW?

The name 'Playdew' is like a burst of joy and creativity, perfectly capturing the spirit of our game studio. It's this clever combo of 'play' and 'dew' that sums up our mission—to bring you games that are not just fun but downright magical!

Now, 'play' is the heartbeat of what we do—making games that spread smiles, spark entertainment, and keep you hooked. It's the lively, imaginative spirit we pour into every bit of our game development. And let's talk about 'dew' in the Pakistani setting—it's like those serene mornings, promising fresh starts and vibrant days. We wanted a name that felt right at home, resonating with our local crowd while keeping that global charm and symbolizing a new start. 

But what makes 'Playdew' extra special is its connection to our awesome sister company, WeRPlay. Crafting this name was like keeping the family vibes strong. It's all about sharing a commitment to creativity, playfulness, and delivering gaming experiences that blow your mind.

So, Playdew isn't just a name—it's a pledge to keep things playful, creative, and downright magical in the wonderful world of gaming, right here in the heart of Pakistan.

5. WHAT WAS THE BACKSTORY BEHIND THE GAME LOST TWINS 2?

The backstory of "Lost Twins 2" revolves around two twin siblings who find themselves mysteriously transported to a magical world. Separated from each other, they embark on a journey to reunite and find their way back home. Along the way, they encounter various challenges, puzzles, and adventures, all while uncovering the secrets of the fantastical realm they've been thrust into.

The narrative unfolds as players progress through the game, piecing together clues and unraveling the mysteries of the twins' unexpected journey. As they delve deeper into the world, they discover the underlying forces at play and the true nature of their predicament.

"Lost Twins 2" is not just about reuniting siblings—it's a tale of resilience, exploration, and discovery. The main protagonists are the twin siblings who find themselves lost in the magical world and must reunite to find their way back home. The inspiration behind the main characters stemmed from a desire to create relatable yet adventurous protagonists that players could empathize with as they journeyed through the game.

The idea of twin siblings embarking on a mysterious adventure resonated with the themes of family and exploration that we wanted to convey in the game. The bond between the twins serves as a driving force throughout the narrative, motivating players to guide them through the challenges they face and ultimately reunite them against all odds.

We drew inspiration from classic storytelling tropes that celebrate the power of familial bonds and the journey of self-discovery. By creating characters that players could connect with on an emotional level, we aimed to make the journey in "Lost Twins 2" not only about solving puzzles but also about the growth and development of the protagonists as they navigate the complexities of the magical world they find themselves in.

8. TELL US ABOUT SOME OF THE ABILITIES IN THE GAME THAT YOU HAVE IN THE GAME?

In "Lost Twins 2," players encounter various abilities and mechanics that enhance gameplay and aid the twin siblings on their journey through the magical world. Some of these abilities include movement and navigation. Players can control the movement of the twin siblings, allowing them to explore different environments, solve puzzles, and interact with objects in the world. The game features a variety of puzzles and challenges that require players to interact with objects, manipulate the environment, and solve intricate puzzles to progress through the game. Players have the ability to zoom in and out of the game environment, allowing them to gain different perspectives and uncover hidden details that may help them solve puzzles or navigate obstacles.

These abilities and mechanics are designed to engage players in immersive gameplay experiences, encouraging exploration, critical thinking, and teamwork as they navigate the enchanting world of "Lost Twins 2" and unravel its mysteries.

9. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE PLACES YOU CAN EXPLORE IN LOST TWINS 2?

The players are invited to embark on a mesmerizing journey through a myriad of enchanting landscapes, each brimming with its own distinctive charm and intrigue. Players will find themselves drawn to the Frozen Castle, a majestic stronghold cloaked in ice and snow. Amidst its towering spires and frost-laden corridors, brave souls must navigate treacherous terrain and icy winds to uncover the castle's chilling secrets, facing perilous cliffs and slippery slopes along the way.

Among the places awaiting exploration are the lush and mystical Enchanted Forests, where towering trees whisper ancient secrets and winding paths lead to hidden clearings filled with ethereal wonders. Here, players will encounter creatures of the forest, from gentle spirits to mischievous sprites, as they unravel the mysteries woven within the ancient groves.

But the journey does not end there, for beyond the Enchanted Froest lie realms of magic and wonder, where reality bends and the impossible becomes possible. Here, players will explore surreal landscapes. Toyland is a whimsical world where childhood fantasies come to life. Amidst vibrant toys, playful childhood items and coloful backgrounds, players will rediscover the joy of imagination and nostalgia as they explore the area.

10. ARE THERE ANY PUZZLES IN THIS GAME AND IF SO HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE CONCEPTS OF THE PUZZLES?

Our game is rich with puzzles that challenge players' problem-solving skills and creativity. The concepts behind these puzzles were carefully crafted to provide engaging and immersive gameplay experiences. Our team drew inspiration from a variety of sources, including classic puzzle games, real-world logic puzzles, and the unique mechanics of the game world itself. We aimed to create puzzles that were not only challenging but also intuitive and rewarding to solve.

The process of conceptualizing the puzzles involved brainstorming sessions, prototyping different ideas, and iterating based on playtesting and feedback. We wanted each puzzle to feel unique and seamlessly integrated into the game world, enhancing the overall sense of immersion and discovery.

Some puzzles were inspired by the environments themselves, with elements such as movable objects, hidden pathways, and environmental cues providing clues to their solutions. Others were designed to require lateral thinking, pattern recognition, or experimentation to solve, encouraging players to approach each challenge from different angles.

Throughout the development process, we remained focused on creating puzzles that were accessible yet satisfyingly complex, ensuring that players would feel a sense of accomplishment as they unraveled each mystery. 

11. ARE THERE ANY PLANS FOR FUTURE DLC FOR THE GAME?

While we're currently focused on delivering the best possible experience with the initial release of the game, we're certainly open to exploring additional content and expansions in the future. The decision to develop DLC will depend on various factors, including player feedback, the reception of the game, and the creative direction our team wants to take.

If there is significant interest from our players and if we believe we have compelling ideas that can expand upon the world and gameplay of "Lost Twins 2" in meaningful ways, we may consider developing DLC.

12. WHY SHOULD ANYBODY WANT TO PLAY LOST TWINS 2 DAY ONE?
