Deep Silver and KING Art Games have unveiled the Space Marines in a new faction trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV, highlighting the Blood Ravens and Dark Angels ahead of the game's December launch.
The new faction deep dive is the fourth and final faction-focused trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV, giving players a closer look at two Space Marine Chapters that will be playable when the strategy game launches later this year.
Dawn of War IV is scheduled to release on PC on December 3, 2026.
Blood Ravens and Dark Angels Enter the Battle
The Space Marines bring a different approach to the battlefield compared to the larger forces of the game's xenos factions. They have fewer units available, but their individual strength, mobility, and tactical flexibility allow them to make devastating attacks when properly positioned.
The Blood Ravens specialize in reconnaissance, infiltration, and precision attacks. Their approach focuses on operating behind enemy lines, gathering information, and taking advantage of weaknesses before striking.
The Dark Angels take a much more direct approach. Their heavily armored forces are designed to overwhelm opponents through sustained firepower and aggressive assaults.
Players will command two different leaders representing the Chapters. Captain Cyrus leads the Blood Ravens, relying on stealth, marksmanship, and carefully timed air support. Company Master Astoran commands the Dark Angels and enters battle in powerful Terminator armor, allowing him to lead assaults from the front.
Space Marines Bring Heavy Firepower
The new faction trailer also showcases some of the destructive abilities available to the Space Marines.
Players can deploy Drop Pods to rapidly bring forces onto the battlefield, while Orbital Bombardments provide devastating attacks capable of turning the tide of an engagement.
The faction's overall design revolves around making every unit count. Rather than overwhelming opponents with sheer numbers, Space Marine commanders will need to use positioning, powerful attacks, and tactical decisions to maintain control of the battlefield.
Dawn of War IV Launches in December
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV will launch on December 3, 2026, with the Commander Edition offering a three-day early unlock beginning November 30.
Both editions are currently available for pre-order with a 10% discount.
KING Art Games and Deep Silver also have plans to support the game beyond launch. The first year of content will include free updates featuring the return of Crusade Mode, along with additional maps, modes, Commanders, and the Mission Editor.
Two major story expansions are also planned. These expansions will continue the conflict on Kronus and eventually introduce another playable faction.
With the Space Marines now revealed, all four of Dawn of War IV's launch faction deep dives have been completed, giving players a broader look at the forces they will command when the battle begins this December.
