EA Sports FC 27 Adds Liga MX, Lazio and More in Massive Licensing Expansion

EA Sports FC 27 is expanding its lineup of officially licensed football content, with Electronic Arts announcing a wave of new and renewed partnerships covering clubs, leagues, and stadiums ahead of the game's launch.

The latest announcement includes the highly anticipated return of Liga BBVA MX, a renewed relationship with the Bundesliga, continued partnerships with the ROSHN Saudi League and A-League, as well as several additions to the game's collection of officially represented European clubs.

The expanded licensing lineup is part of EA's continued effort to make EA Sports FC one of the most comprehensive football experiences available, with more than 21,000 players, over 800 clubs and national teams, 140 stadiums, and more than 35 leagues represented across the game.

Liga MX Returns to EA Sports FC 27

One of the biggest announcements is the return of Liga BBVA MX.

All 18 Liga MX clubs will be included in EA Sports FC 27 in a fully licensed experience, giving fans the opportunity to play with teams from one of Mexico's most prominent football competitions.

The league's inclusion also gives EA Sports FC 27 another major piece of international football representation, particularly for players who follow Mexican football.

Lazio Returns to Serie A

Italian football is also receiving an important addition.

S.S. Lazio is returning to EA Sports FC, bringing the number of officially licensed Serie A Enilive clubs featured in the game to 17.

EA is also strengthening its relationships with English football through new and renewed marketing partnerships involving Aston Villa and Liverpool FC.

The Premier League remains a major component of EA Sports FC 27, with all 20 Premier League clubs represented alongside their managers, stadiums, kits, commentary, and other authentic presentation elements.

Bundesliga Partnership Continues

EA Sports FC is also extending its long-running partnership with the Bundesliga, providing players with continued access to authentic German football.

The renewed agreement covers both the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2, giving fans more ways to experience Germany's professional football structure within EA Sports FC 27.

The game will also continue its relationship with the ROSHN Saudi League, bringing every RSL club and player into the experience with their respective identities represented.

Meanwhile, the A-League partnership has also been renewed. Players can expect updated squads and kits following the start of the new A-League season in October, with the competition also represented in EA Sports FC Mobile.

EA Sports FC 27 Adds New Stadiums

Stadium authenticity is another major focus for EA Sports FC 27.

The game will introduce several new or rebuilt grounds, including AS Monaco's Stade Louis II, Real Oviedo's Estadio Carlos Tartiere, and the Legia Warsaw Municipal Stadium.

EA has also reconstructed Arsenal's Emirates Stadium and VfB Stuttgart's MHPArena for the latest installment.

Players will additionally find the stadiums of all three promoted Premier League clubs available at launch:

  • Ipswich Town – Portman Road
  • Hull City – MKM Stadium
  • Coventry City – CBS Arena

These additions should make the experience feel even closer to watching the real-world competitions, particularly for fans whose clubs have recently moved between divisions.

Champions League, Libertadores and More

EA Sports FC 27 continues to position itself around its extensive collection of licensed competitions.

The game will feature major tournaments and leagues including the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, UEFA Women's Champions League, CONMEBOL Libertadores, Premier League, Bundesliga, and LALIGA EA SPORTS.

Women's football will also have substantial representation through competitions such as the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga, Liga F Moeve, Barclays Women's Super League, Ligue 1 McDonald's, Arkema Première Ligue, and National Women's Soccer League.

With more than 300 football partners contributing to the game's overall authenticity, EA is clearly continuing to make licensing one of the biggest selling points of the franchise.

EA Sports FC 27's latest partnership announcement gives players another substantial collection of clubs, competitions, players, and stadiums to look forward to.

With Liga MX returning, Lazio back in Serie A, renewed Bundesliga and Saudi League partnerships, and several new stadiums joining the lineup, EA Sports FC 27 is shaping up to be an even broader representation of the global football landscape.

More information on the game's features, gameplay, and additional licensed content is expected to be revealed as EA approaches launch.
