Two Characters, One Mystery Beneath the Abyss

Anima: Song from the Abyss is a third-person action RPG that combines traditional pen-and-paper role-playing elements with hack-and-slash combat. Players will control two different characters as they explore the secrets hidden within the Abyss and investigate an enigmatic song connected to a forgotten civilization.

The combination of character switching, exploration, and action-based combat forms the foundation of the adventure. While Selecta Play and Anima Project have not shared further details about the characters or the full scope of the gameplay, the premise points toward a fantasy journey built around uncovering the mysteries of its world.

The project has also earned recognition outside of its publishing announcement. Anima: Song from the Abyss was recently selected as one of the nominees for the Indie X Top 50, adding another milestone as development continues.

For Selecta Play and Anima Project, this partnership marks another opportunity to work together following their previous release. More information about Anima: Song from the Abyss, including additional details about its release, is expected to arrive in the future.
