Publisher Shochiku Games and developer Imanity have released a new promotional trailer alongside a major update for the game's free Steam demo, introducing additional music, improved visuals, and more details about its story.
The latest trailer offers a closer look at the game's rhythm-based action and cinematic presentation, while also introducing its Chapter 1 theme song, "Elina," composed by Kyiku and rinri and performed by Es. The video marks the first time the theme song has been revealed, and it also features the voice of protagonist Elina, voiced by Saima Nakano.

Developed around a combination of music, movement, and storytelling, Estella takes players across a cosmic setting where rhythm gameplay is presented through fast-paced movement along octagonal lanes. Using a mouse and keyboard, players must navigate the tracks as music and visual effects come together to create its distinctive gameplay experience.
The game follows Elina, a girl chosen by a mysterious golden comet. Each planet represents a chapter in the larger adventure, with cinematic storytelling woven into the rhythm-based action. The first chapter focuses on Elina's journey after a strange purple flower spreads across her homeland, leaving people emotionally numb. Although she recognizes that something is wrong, her concerns lead to her being branded a heretic and banished.
Two years later, Elina awakens alone to discover that her hands have become translucent. With the purple curse continuing to consume everything around her, a mysterious golden light appears. Determined to reclaim her home and the warmth she lost, she begins a journey into the unknown.
Updated Steam Demo Adds New Music and Visual Improvements
The latest demo update introduces several improvements to the overall experience, including refinements to the game's main visuals, user interface, and gameplay presentation. It also adds three new songs, expanding the selection available to players ahead of the planned Early Access release.
The updated music lineup includes tracks such as "Fantasia Sonata Estella" by PYKAMIA, "lost night meteor" by kanase., "Reblossia" by Dadadaizu, and "Exit This Earth's Atomosphere" by Camellia. The demo also features "PUPA" by Morimori Atsushi, "enchanted love" by linear ring, and "Festival Forever" by TAKIO.
Some of these tracks were previously introduced during Tokyo Game Show 2026, where they attracted attention from attendees. Their inclusion gives players an opportunity to experience more of the soundtrack before the full Early Access launch.
The updated demo is available now through Steam, allowing interested players to try the game and add it to their wishlists.

Multiplayer Mode and Early Access Plans
The new promotional video also provides a first look at Estella's Multiplayer Mode. The feature will allow up to 32 players to compete for scores while remaining synchronized in real time, offering a different way to experience the game's music-focused challenges.
Imanity plans to release Estella in Early Access this winter. The initial version is expected to include Chapter 1, centered on Elina's story, along with a varied music selection featuring approximately 40 songs.
Estella is currently in development for PC through Steam. The game is listed as a music rhythm action title, with its price still to be announced. While the current demo gives players an early opportunity to experience its gameplay and music, the upcoming Early Access release will introduce the first chapter of its larger story.
With its updated demo, expanded soundtrack, and newly revealed multiplayer footage, Estella is shaping up to be an interesting addition to the rhythm game lineup. Players can try the latest demo now while waiting for its planned winter release.
